We’re excited to announce that Professor Rohan Walker will be our keynote speaker! Don’t miss it!

Professor Rohan Walker is a multidimensional scientist who is linking cutting edge neuroscience with over-the-horizon solutions for clinical applications. He holds roles at the University of Newcastle, the Centre for Advanced Training Systems, the Centre for Rehab Innovations, the Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury Priority Research Centre, and the National Animal Welfare Biomarkers Consortium (to name a few!)

You may have seen Rohan on the NBN and Channel 7 news last week talking about his most recent success: Real-time VR training to improve emergency stroke nursing care. We’re thrilled that Rohan is able to join us to talk through the project, the technology and its applications, his collaborative approach to achieving the best results, as well as the challenges he and his team faced along the way.

Dr Mark Flynn will also join us to talk about the results of the recent industry capability survey and what they tell us about the region’s health & medtech industry base.
