MedTeCCH was delighted to partner with NSW Health Pathology to hold its June 10 meeting at the organisation’s Point of Care Testing HQ in Maryville.

Dr Stephen Braye, Andrew Sargeant and their PoCT team explained the inspiring, nationally-significant work going on right here in the Hunter and overviewed the huge potential for local input. The team showcased its new dedicated point of care testing research and development space and presented AVA (Analysing, Validating and Adopting); NSWHP’s process to better develop supportive relationships between research, development, industry and manufacturing.

Heath Raftery from NewieVentures highlighted the innovative, high-tech solutions he and his team are providing to businesses across a vast array of industries. It was very eye-opening and reinforced what possible with a collaborative mindset.

Thanks, too, to Central Coast Local Health District for showcasing the new health precinct in Gosford and inviting MedTeCCH members for an exclusive look inside the new CCCSRI in September – we’re all very excited!

MedTeCCH is continuing to bring the Hunter Central Coast MTP community together to collaborate and strengthen this important sector for the region’s future. medtecch.org.au
