There are new opportunities to work with teams of third-year science students at the University of Newcastle in a one-year intensive project-based course on problems that faces your industry.
You could be a client for a team of students who come from a range of science disciplines. We do most of the work managing the team. Your involvement is only 6 one-hour meetings with your team across the year. You get to scope out potential employees for your organisation by getting to know the students and get to know their academic mentor (you never know where that might lead in the future). Plus you’ll be contributing an applied learning experience that’s going to help our students as they enter the workforce with practical skills.
